Corrections Policy

How to report errors on SoftwareGlimpse and how we investigate, correct, and update published content.

What to report

Report factual errors, outdated pricing, broken product claims, missing disclosures, misleading evidence-level wording (for example, implying hands-on testing when none is recorded), or other material inaccuracies. Include the page URL and what looks wrong.

How to report

Use Contact and choose Correction, or email info@softwareglimpse.com with the URL and a short description. Privacy-related requests should use privacy@softwareglimpse.com or Contact → Privacy.

Investigation

We review the report against research sources, editorial assessments, and publishing metadata. Vendor materials and primary sources take precedence over secondary summaries when they conflict.

Outcomes

If we confirm an error, we update the page, research or editorial records as needed, and refresh last-updated (and pricing-verified or testing timestamps when those fields change). If we cannot confirm the issue, we may ask for more detail or leave the page unchanged.

Timing

We aim to acknowledge correction reports within a few business days and to ship material fixes as soon as verified. Complex catalogue or methodology changes may take longer than a simple typo fix.

Transparency

We do not fabricate a public correction log entry for every minor typo. Material changes that affect recommendations, scores, pricing, or evidence level should be visible via updated page content and dates.
